I’ve tried looking for a solution to my problem, or a similar one, in various forums, including this one. I’ve recently installed Manjaro xfce on a new HP Victus 15-fa0031dx laptop i bought about a week ago, encountering a problem with screen tearing when my mouse sits on about a seventh of the length of my screen from left to right.
